Delete your data.
There is no account to delete and no server-side copy of anything, because there is no server. Deleting the app is complete deletion.
1. The short version
Everything AURA knows about you lives only on your iPhone — memories, conversation history, settings, and any API key you connected. None of it is ever copied to us. That means every deletion below is immediate and final the moment you do it, on your device, with nothing to wait on and no request to send us.
2. How to delete each thing
- A single memory. Settings → Privacy → Memory, swipe the one you want to remove.
- All memories. Settings → Privacy → Memory → Delete All.
- Memory going forward. Settings → Privacy → Memory, turn the toggle off so nothing new is remembered.
- A single conversation, or all conversation history. Settings → Privacy → History → delete one or Delete All.
- Conversation history going forward. Settings → Privacy → History, turn the toggle off.
- An API key. Settings → Connect a Provider, remove it. This deletes it from the iOS Keychain; it was never stored anywhere else.
- A permission (microphone, speech recognition, location, calendar, reminders, notifications). iOS Settings → Privacy & Security. AURA keeps working without it, just without whatever it enabled.
- Everything, at once. Delete the app. That removes conversations, memories, settings, and Keychain entries — all of it, in one step.
3. Why there’s no account to delete
AURA has no sign-in and operates no server, so there is no account record and no backend copy of anything — the deletion steps above are the complete and only place your data ever existed. Full detail on what AURA handles and why is in the Privacy Policy.
